In the Beginning

This post is to commemorate the beginning of my blogging life. I really think I will enjoy creating it and looking back at past posts. I am a 20 year old wife and mama to be, due August 2010. We have 2 Boxers Toby and Brandy and 3 rats Roxy, Koodo and Star.

I have just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and am a new Stevia fanatic so I will probably post results from my fave recipes, it's hard to find anything for Stevia recipes on the internet. I always want recipes that are tried and true for baking otherwise you dont know if they'll turn out unlike cooking which you can just change at any given moment.

I am not completely crunchy but I'm on my way. We are using all natural or second hand toys (no new plastic) like wooden, felt and knit toys. We plan on breastfeeding, baby wearing and homeschooling. We use family cloth and will cloth diaper. I'm doing a natural home birth using aromatherapy and relaxation. And we're trying to cut down on my plastic consumption/use the plastic bags I've accumulated (I always forget my canvas bags when I shop) for knitting projects. I'm currently working on a crocheted mat for gardening outside I think i"m just doing it in single crochet. We'll see how it turns out. I'm not even hoping for it to be pretty but I can post instructions and pics when I'm done.
